Gardening on the Weekend

Our weekend was pretty busy. Hubby spent his weekend installing the new shutters that he ordered online. Our old ones fell off when we were in Korea so we have to replace them. He wasn't able to finish it since the one package they sent was incomplete, so we have to wait till the additional parts arrive. I did some gardening with the kids, I removed the old petals of my rose in front of the house.
Roses provide beauty even when the flowers fell off already.
While doing my gardening, my son relaxes in front of the garage using the folding chair that Pap gave them.

Then we visited my FIL afterwards. I baked some shrimp pop corn for snack.

How was your weekend folks?

Just remember....

that a little bit of this
and a little dash of that
makes a sumptuous life...

so Spice Up Your Life.

Your roses are soooooo pretty! You should put your son to work. He looks like he could carry your water and pick up the clippings?

Eat up because the oil world is causing the price of those shrimp to go up.

Happy RT! Glad you could see us off to Beattle stomping grounds.

Beautiful rose in your garden.
Your son looks like a little prince eating those delicious shrimps.
In Norway we are used to getting shrimps fresh from the sea. This year the price has raised with 100%.
It's still the best summer food to me.

Thanks for the post. God bless you all always.

Your yard is beautiful! The care taken in the landscaping is what makes it special! Your son is content to let the grownups do the design work...Our weekend was mostly uneventful (even at the street fair), and that is relaxing to me!
