Coconut Pie

Whenever I see a coconut pie, it always reminds me of John's Aunt who  died  a couple of years ago.  She used to bake a coconut pie and bring it to Dad's house.  She knew how much we like it.  Now that she's gone,  the only coconut pie we can eat is the frozen ones from the store.  Not really tasty like the one that she used to make us.  Oh I miss Aunt Athelea!
Just remember....

Yung coconut pie ba sa America ay katulad din nang ating buco pie? Napakasarap kasi nang buco pie na gawa sa Los Banos, Laguna. I never fail to buy one whenever I pass that place. Thanks for the post. God bless you all always.

I have never tried freshly made coconut pie before, just store bought ones. If only I could bake pies this will probably be the one I'll be making the most. :)
