Jackfruit 365/260

Jackfruit is commonly known as "langka" in the Filipino language.  Both of my husband and  daughter love this  fruit.  I always put this as filling in  our toron - a Filipino snack  made from banana and wrapped in lumpia wrapper.  You can fry or bake it  depending on your preference.

The photo below was taken in Epcot Research and Developing Center - Disney World.
This is what a jackfruit looks like when ripe.

  • Nothing was done today at our porch.  We were hoping that they  pour the concrete but they never did.  Waiting is really a worst thing.
  • Mr. Burrito did not feel good today so  we did not do any lessons.
  • I made some bibimbap for dinner.  How about you, what did you have for dinner?

Wow, I love jackfruit or langka. I love the pungent smell of its fruit. I also love langka with turon and halo halo. Even the green langka, I love it as vegetable cooked in coconut milk. Thanks for the post. God bless you all always.
