Banana

Banana is the common name for herbaceous plants of the genus Musa and for the fruit they produce.  I often wonder why banana is called a tree.  The photo was taken in Orlando Florida.

March 4, 2012:
  • Last month, we did not attend  any Sunday mass  due to the stomach flu that   all of us got.
  • We started on  another puzzle this morning  but we had to stop  so we could go to church.
  • We  went to Dad's after mass and had  dinner with him and my SIL's family.  Thanks Chris for the wonderful dinner.  We stayed there for the rest of the afternoon.  We came home past 6 already.

Those banana trees in Florida look like the same banana trees prevalent in the Philippines. Thanks for the post. God bless you all always.
