Scones

My skills in baking is very limited, I don't much about it as I never did bake when I was still in the Philippines. I am just thankful that there are people who are filling that void for my kids. My husband knows how to bake a lot of stuff ( mostly desserts) than I do. My sister -inlaw also bakes with my kids sometimes. In our neighborhood, it's Ms. Burrito's Lola (her adoptive Grandma).  Ruth loves  doing kitchen activities with Ms. Burrito.
A couple of days ago, she showed her how to  make scones.
Cuddling while waiting for the scones to get done baking.
Pretty  wind chimes at their  home/kitchen.
Aren't they look  delicious?  They are!

  • Hubby left early today.  He is taking a test for a job he applied for.  Before he could get to an interview, he has to pass a 6-hour test first.

I confess I could not click on the link fast enough when I spied the word "scones" - they look delicious! :-)

I also love the sky image with the wind chimes, beautifully captured!

Happy Skywatch,
Merisi

Good luck to your husband for his job. I love scones but I seldom make them as we only eat a couple and the remainder get left!

That is the way neighbors should be. The lady lloks like someone that would make a great parent. Best wishes to your "man" and passes the test.

Poor guy! I hope he gets the job. It awful sweet of her to bake with your daughter. Sometimes friends are so dear, they become our extended family.
