I have been very busy outside tending my garden. I am just glad that when we went for our early summer vacation, it rained on and off here the entire week that we were gone so when we came back my plants looks really good. In fact, we had our very first fresh salad from our garden when we came back. Our lettuce was so thick when we came home so I picked them and made a salad. I also picked some of our spinach and put some of in the chicken soup that I cooked the other day. Oh the beauty of warmer days, you get to enjoy the fruit of your labor in the garden.
The The Gro Project has helped me a lot in getting great ideas for fun garden projects that me and my kids can do in our garden. We went to the store yesterday and I saw one bag of Miracle-Gro on a reduced price because it was torn. The store put tape on it and knocked off two dollars from the price. I bought it and put around the tomatoes that I newly planted. Our neighbor has spare tomato plants so she gave it to us.
My potted plants are also doing great because of the moisture control potting mix that I incorporate together in the potting soil. My neighbor love using the Shake’n Feed All Purpose Plant Food, she said that it is her secret for having beautiful blooms in her garden and I believe that. Below is one of her beautiful potted plants.
Anyway, if you are looking for some great ideas for gardening, check out and follow Miracle Gro on Pinterest. You will be able to access The Gro Project's Garden Education and use it in your garden. They have a vast selection of helpful videos that you can watch.
