Hearty Egg - P365 # 133

I was bummed out when I broke the egg yoke as I cracked it open in the pan. But when the egg yoke started spreading out, it formed into a heart weee.   Isn't that a heart?
May 15, 2011:
  • I wasn't able to  update this blog this morning.  I have a cramp so I sleep a little longer this morning and  wasn't  blog as much as I want.
  • I was going to wash some clothes today but  the lazy bug  is in me besides we just got back from Dad's so I'll do it tomorrow.
  • Sometimes when I am cooking, I miss the old style  where you use firewood to cook.  The taste of food  is different than cooking in  gas or electric  stove.  It's not even close to wood burning stoves that you can find.  My family still uses the same  style in cooking.  My mother used to tell me when I was living in a an apartment and using gas to cook, she said the  taste of the food is not as good as the one that s cook using firewood.  Sorry folks, I am a little nostalgic today.. hormone is changing  due to my PMS lol.
  • It's raining again and it says on the weather channel that another  storm is coming.  Part of  pour town  was flooded  a couple of days ago.  I feel bad for those  people whose house were  soaked with the flood.

Hope everyone had a good weekend.

I'm the same way when I have my monthly cramps from my period. I'm all irritable and "whiny". Buti na lang my hubby understands and loves me just the same.

Ang cute nung heart-egg! May ibig sabihin kaya yan? ;-)

Yes, your mom is right. Cooking with firewood and in clay pots bring out the best in food. It's amazing how the egg yolk formed into a heart shaped one. Thanks for the post. God bless you all always.
