Cooking Sweet Rice

One of Ms. Burrito's favorite Filipino dessert is sweet rice.  She  was craving for it the other day so  we made some.
A Spice A  Day # 83

March 23, 2012:

  • Thanks God It's Friday!  Do you feel that way too on weekends?
  • After  we walked Ms. Burrito to school this morning, me and my son  spent sometime at our backyard removing some weeds growing at my flower beds.  Glad am done with it.  I noticed that  mour bunny has been eating all the plants that is growing in my garden wahhh.
  • Will update this later on.  Me and the kids had fun  outside, they jumped in the trampoline while I cleaned up Wubzy's cage.
  • We visited my  FIL and  the kids played with the neighbor's kids.
  • The movie "the Last Song" made me cry tonight lol.

I like rice too. I like it plain with sugar and butter best.

I love rice and eat it often (we grow it), but I don't think I've ever had it as a pudding.

Always nice to see kids cooking!

The rice looks good. Nice little helper you have there. I miss the days when my kids were little and "liked" to help with chores and cooking.

The sweet rice is very similar to a porridge. Nice that your family appreciates that. Thanks for the post. God bless you all always.
