Gourmet Snack Mixes from Gourmet Nut

I am, a NUT person (not the bad way kind of nut), I meant any kind of nuts such as peanut, cashew, pecan, almond, etc. I love them as a snack! I always buy snack mixes from the store but never tried the snack mixes from Gourmet Nut before. I am so glad that they gave me an opportunity to try different kinds of snack mixes and salt. Gourmet Nut sent me a box full of goodies last week.  Thank you so much!
Here's what's inside.  Four packs of snack mixes and  6 kinds of  sea salt.  In the neck of the woods where I grow up in, we only used  sea salt in cooking.  Only those people who call themselves  "rich" uses Iodized salt.  I am thrilled to  see different kinds of sea salt from different  regions.
Below is the Himalayan Pink gourmet salt, hand mined salt found naturally deep inside the pristine Himalayan Mountain.  According to the  package label, it has a high mineral content.  This would be  an all round sea salt for cooking, roasting, grilling, seasoning, and beautiful  addition for presentation.  I can imagine using this in a freshly caught fish and  grill it, hmmnn, smells so good!

This Sel Gris French sea salt also has a high level of minerals and  nutrients.  This kind of salt is ideal for baking breads, making soups and sauces as it dissolves very easily.  My daughter tried this already when she made the  spaghetti sauce yesterday.

Below is the Hiwa Kai Hawaiian  sea salt.  IT has a stunning black color and silky texture.  The solar evaporated  Pacific sea salt is  combined with activated charcoal .
The Alaea sea salt is another Hawaiian  premium salt collection, it's a non-processed and rich in trace mineral that can be found in sea water.  A great  one to use with your red meat and  a fabulous grain for  garnishing.
The Sonoma Gourmet Sea Salt is   solar evaporated from the clean waters of Pacific Ocean.  It's pure, natural, and unadulterated  sea salt that does not contain additives.
The Smoked Sea Salt is a unique  new breed of natural  smoked salt with authentic smoked flavor.  Great salt to use for BBQing.
Remember I am  a nut person, well, I am not alone.  My daughter love snacking on nuts as well.  Her favorite among the four selection of snack mixes that we received is the  Feel Good mix.  It has peanuts, almonds, apricots, granola, raisins, and cranberries.
My  favorite is the Nature's Mix because it contains my favorite  tropical  fruits such as papaya and pineapple.  It also  has raisins, cranberries, peanuts, almonds, and cashews.  If it wasn't for peanut, I think that this  one would be great for my son as he likes  papaya.  Too bad, he has  a peanut allergy.
This  Soy Nut is something that only me   can enjoy as Ms. Burrito is allergic to soy.  Hubby is not  very fond of snacking on   other  kinds of nu-ts other than cashes and pistachios.  This has  soy nu-ts, cranberries, raisins, pumpkin seeds, and almonds.
The last snack mix is the Energize Me.  I have eaten the whole thing already.  It has  almonds,  cashews, raisins, pumpkin seeds, peanuts, and cherries.  This really make my  breakfast a lot easier.
So the next time, you are looking for  some Gourmet  On the Go snacks,  try Gourmet Nut selection.

You may purchase their products  through Amazon.  Their prices are so affordable and worth  the health benefits you get.  Thank you again Gourmet Nut!

Here in the Pinas, we're using rock salt and iodized salt for family use. No any other kinds of salt...local manufactured salt is cheaper.

Interesting freebies sis. I like those mixed nuts because my hubby and daughter love snacking on nuts. I, on the other hand, loves snacking on fruits or dried fruits.
