Little Feast at Home

Being a work-at-home-mom (WAHM) has a lot of  advantages.  First and foremost, I get to take care of my children, cook their food, walk them to school and be there for them  all the time.  Then I get to work on meeting my schedule  in my convinient, I don't have to deal with drama or other issues at woek.  It might not be the ideal   move career-wise and not the best option financially but it greatly benifits  us as a family.
We get to eat a good meal everyday and we get to sit down every  dinner at home.  It is awesome when you can all sit down together and talk about  everything.   Hubby and I always encourages the kids to talk to us about everything, open communication is vital.  We might not always talk about fender tube amps but that's alright.  As long as we are open to talk about things, nothing could not be done, we will work on it as family.
Eating out is expensive and  it can be unhealthy so I make sure to make something that  everybody can enjoy.  Menu planning does not work for our family because I cook whatever is in the mood of my family.
It's funny whenever I a cooking sometimes and  one of our kids need help  in reviewing for the  test the next day, their study guide gets messy sometimes because I lay it in the counter.  But it is alright, as long as we can help them, no matter how  it's done, it's totally fine.
I always love it when I can make  some dishes under $10.  Going out to eat will cost at least  $10 per head depending on the place you choose and the kind of fiid you eat so when you can make something delicious for under ten bucks, that's a win win.
It's not common to have gresh dinner rolls in our table but once in a while, I go on an easier route, I buy the ready to bake rolls.  We all love freshly cooked dishes  so it is fulfilling to see my family the enjoy food that I make on a daily basis.  There is one day in a week thought that we eat left overs because I hate wasting food.  Even left overs can be a little feast at home with family.

Looks so healthy. We grow all our vegetables and and the only thing we really buy is meat. Cooking at home is so much healthier. Well done. Diane

This looks like an affordable place to eat, and those rolls are probably something I would eat more than I should of! I love rolls.

I think eating at home together is important to a family and can be very beneficial to the kids. We always talk about our day or if someone has a problem with something we talk about it so we can come up with suggestions for them. Thanks for sharing your experience.

Your kids are lucky that you have all the time for them. There's nothing like home-cooked meals prepared by Mom. A lot of family bonding moments happen during meal time. I must say, everything looks super good! - RUSS

Everything looks absolutely amazing. I have to admit I'm a bread person though and I could probably eat all of those rolls by myself over a course of a week lol.
