Thai Cuisine and Sushi Bar

My husband said that some of his co-workers recommends  Papaya restaurant for  some awesome Asian cuisine.  So he  said that we should check it out and that we  can try it.  We went there on the day of our anniversary without checking their online info.  With our luck with things,  they  were close for an hour when we arrived. Since our son  had a  football game later on that day, we did not wait and ate at another restaurant instead.  It was a disappointing long drive but we learned our lesson not checking the  website first.
Anyway, we went back  again  after a couple of weeks but went there at  the right business hours.  The place is  quaint, I like the  Asian decors on the wall and the ambiance is okay.
The meal prices are  reasonable but I wasn't very impress of the food.  I think the only person that was impressed is my husband  just because the  sushi were good.  I must admit that the sushi were decent.
My daughter and I shared  a meal since we didn't know much  about Thai food and we did not want to order  two different things.  If I have to give  a rate of the meal I ordered, I would give it a 3 out of 5.  It was called Thai Panang curry.  I remember the  Thai Restaurant we dined at in California, that was a really good one.  This one is not so much.
Even the pork dumpling is kind of bland.  The good thing is, we tried it and now we know not to come back there anymore lol.
Anyhow, this was the  cake my daughter baked for our anniversary.

13years of being married is great.  We have been through a lot but still  strong and love each other more than we  did when we first got married.

Going out to eat is one of our favorite activities. Sushi is definitely a family favorite! We also love Thai cuisine and can't wait to check out the new place in town.

Congrats on 13 years of being married. I don't eat Thai food often so I don't know too much about it!

I freely admit that I am not a fan of sushi. The Thai cuisine looks amazing though, and that would definitely be something I would try in the future.
