Tomato Juice

My kids absolutely love their Pap.  We visit him almost everyday and their day isn't complete if we don't.  Last Saturday, we went there because  him and my daughter had plan of making tomato juice.  This is the second time they did it.  The first time was a couple of weeks ago with EJ (will post it next time).
For me personally, I preferred canning tomato sauce than juice because with the former, you do not throw any parts of the tomato but with the latter, you throw away some of the meat after the juicewas extracted.
But anyhow, my role is to clean the tomatoes, remove the core out and slice them.
The rest was done with our little princess who love to do these things.
She was singing while cranking the the thing.
Can you tell how much she enjoys it?
Making tomato juice is fun but messy lol.
After that, Pap did  sterelized the bottles and lids then he boiled the juice and caned them.
Just remember....

that a little bit of this
and a little dash of that
makes a sumptuous life...

so Spice Up Your Life.

What a wonderful way to spend time with your child! She looks like she's having so much fun. Beautiful series of photos. I'm not a tomato fan, but I'll be home made tomato juice tastes better than what you buy in a store.

Bonding time in the kitchen is so nurturing. You get to spend quality time together, the little ones learn, and you usually come up with something to be consumed. :)

It's great that Rylie can already make tomato juice for her grandpa. Rylie is growing up to be a very talented and versatile girl. She really took from you. Thanks for the homey post. God bless you all always.
