#RibEyeSteak #MashedPotatoes & #MeatTenderizer

Have you ever bought beef in large quantity?  We have a friend who owns a farm and they raised cows.  They always  offer us  to buy  beef whenever they will have to butcher  one.  I tell you, it is the cheapest way to buy and stock beef in the freezer for future use.  We use a lot of  ground beef for cooking so a lot of cut we order is  ground beef.  We only buy a quarter of the  whole cow and  it last us  a good amount of time to consume it all.
Anyway, the other day, I made some  rib eye steak and mashed potatoes.  The rib eye steak is a lot thicker than I would like so I used the  meat tenderizer that I got from Cave Tools.  This blade  tenderizer is a great little tool to have in your kitchen.

With this blade tenderizer, the meat cooks faster  and more evenly.  And because the blades break down connective tissue, the meat absorb marinade even deeper which makes the meat a lot tastier.  This is best to use when you are planning to make country fried steak, cordon bleu, or weiner schnitzel.  I love that it is dishwasher safe, so you can just toss it in  the dishwasher after you use it.
I couldn't be more happier having this because I like meat  that are tender  when cook.  Not all cut of meat  is tender when you cook it so a little help to achieve that is great.
For $12.99, this  meat tenderizer is quite helpful.  You can  use this coupon code,  TENDER15 to enjoy a 15% your purchase via Amazon .  When you buy this, ypu can also download the  free  recipe book that comes  with it.
Some people or maybe most people like their steak  rare but I  am  the other way.  I can't eat meat when I see  pink inside it so I like mine well done.  Most  professional chef would consider my choice  as sacrilegious in their   culinary profession but we all  have  our own preferences, right?    How about you, how do you like your steak??
Mashed potato is the best pair for this kind of  meat so here you go.  I would prefer some greens but hubby love  mashed potatoes so that is what I made.
Don't forget to use the coupon code if you decide to purchase one.  Trust me, it's a must have in  every kitchen especially if you love meat!

Hubby loves steak and mashed potatoes. That's an interesting tenderizer, I've never tried one like that.

We always tenderize our different cuts of meat. We do our own butchering so this is really important.

Thanks for the coupon. I have a wooden mallet type tenderizer and it really makes a difference in making a tough cut of meat cut like butter. I know this blade tenderizer would definitely make for a tender steak.

This sounds delicious. I love the idea of making up a good rib eye steak. The man of the house loves him some steak and I do but I have to make sure it's super moist to chew easily for me :)

I belief it! It is pretty cheap. Now of course I'm talking about elf, when a friend of ours went elk hunting, we ended up having like 6 months worth of meat in the fridge! It was great! And cows are much bigger than elk!

I have always liked my steak fairly rare. But to each their own! A good meat tenderizer can make a big difference while cooking.

I have never tried a tenderizer! I think my husband would love a tenderizer in our cabinet!

Mmmm...Love this! Sometimes when we cook out I never know if the cut of beef is going to be tender. I could really use a good meat tenderizer like this one!

That looks like a nifty tool to have in the kitchen! I am like you, I like my steak well done. I don't like meat that is rare. I'd feel like I just bit into a cow if the meat was still pink.

The Tenderizer sounds like a great addition to the kitchen equipment. Would come in quite handy.

What a cool kitchen gadget. I never tenderizer our meat. I usually buy the same cuts that are usually tender anyway.

My son still enjoys steak! I've opted out of the red meat. Nice tools!

We too buy part of a cow once or twice a year. It lasts a really long time and it's nice to not have to have it on my grocery list. This looks like a wonderful meat tenderizer. I'll have to put it on our wish list because tenderizing really does bring out a lot of flavor. x

That tenderiser is neat, never seen anything like it here. Love a good steak but for me it has to be very rare :-) Hope you are well. All the best for 2018. Diane
