Stuffed Pepper

We saw some fresh pepper at Walmart when we had our grocery shopping the other day. Hubby immediately winked at me which means that he would love to have some Stuffed Pepper. Stuffed Pepper is one of the dishes that I like and learned how to make ever since I came here in the States. I like making it because it doesn't require a lot of ingredients and it is very simple to prepare.

We always want those very hot pepper like Hungarian type but this one that we bought isn't. You can also use bell pepper if you don't want it hot. Make sure to wear gloves when you remove the seeds of the pepper. To remove it you need to cut off the head and slice it open.

You need sauce (I love using spaghetti sauce), italian sausage, bread crumbs, eggs and the peppers. After removing the seeds, you mix the sausage with bread crumbs and eggs.

When you're done, you can stuff the pepper with your sausage mix.

Then top it with the sauce. You can also use the pepper, onion, and sauce mix. Bake it for 90 minutes. I always covered the baking sheet with alum. foil first before I put the baking ware and then cover the top with AF so that when the sauce starts to boil, you won't have a mess.
When it's done, sprinkle the mozzarella cheese and bake it for 5 minutes. And here is the sumptuous stuffed pepper match with a plate of rice. Yum! My in-laws love to eat this with bread but I like mine with rice.
Just remember....

that a little bit of this
and a little dash of that
makes a sumptuous life...

so Spice Up Your Life.

Naku Mommy Rose bagong style ito ah. Gusto ko itong e-try lalo na mga farm market ngayon maraming fresh produce na. Doon naman sa Kielbasa sausage ko try to use the original not the spicy and the brand na use ko is Hillshire. I bought 3 packs for $5 sa Walmart din hehe. Okie dokie TC you all. Happy Sunday!

Kakaiba nga ang paggawa mo nang stuffed pepper. Bake kasi yung ginawa mo at hindi fried katulad nang ginagawa sa Pinas, lol. Meron ding spaghetti sauce at mozarella cheese. Para tuloy pizza, lol. Pero mukhang masarap, in fairness. Thanks again for the yummy post. God bless you all always.
