Baked Potatoes, Wild Rice, and Breaded Fish

Baked Potatoes, Wild Rice, and Breaded Fish, one yummy dinner we had this month at home.  I have been trying cooking fish and  chicken and less red meat for the past  few weeks but today, I am making a pot roast. I started  slow cooking it since this morning.
The baked potatoes with broccoli and cheese were so good.  I baked the potatoes in the microwave till its done then I  cut it in half.  I then added the  frozen broccoli and top it with black pepper and cheese and baked it at 350 degrees in the over for about ten minutes.
The wild rice is the one I always bought  in the store, the Uncle Ben's brand.  They are about  a dollar and some for a box and it feeds us four.
We love the potato crusted fish fillet from Gorton.  The fish is flaky and it doesn't get saggy when you bake it.
That and a glass of pomegranate juice is a perfect dinner for me.  No need to go out and eat at the restaurant.  You can just make it at home, it's cheaper and it's the right portion.  Sorry for not having the recipe on this, it's pretty much  came from boxes  and I just  made them according to the directions.  For the baked potato, it's easy as  1,2,3 so no need for a recipe.

I really love baked potatoes, I always have mine with chicken tikka on top. The wild rice looks really delicious, I'd love that instead of my usual brown rice, which can be kind of boring. I'm not a fan of fish so I'd make that breaded chicken instead and then it would be my perfect meal :)

Such a hearty looking, and healthy looking meal. This is the kind of stuff I like to cook on a regular day for my husband and I. LOVE fish. And a baked potato (or any potato for that matter) is a must-have on my plate a few times per week. Funny that you added rice AND potato to the meal though!!

This looks really amazing and it reminded me that I haven't had my second seafood dish this week yet. We are huge Gortons fans, the kids especially love the fish fillets on hamburger buns as a sandwich. I love it all and yours looks amazing with your side choices.

@spiffykerms, I know it's crazy but I just can't eat without rice lol. Carb + carb is bad but it was yummy.

Man, this just screams perfect dinner to me right here! :) You pretty much have all of your food groups, well maybe just not fruit but its pretty balanced to me! I would love to make this one day, if only I had the time. Your food really makes me inspired to cook and venture out more in the food world. Thanks for sharing the yummys!

My mom also makes baked potatoes with broccoli and cheese for us and her recipe is so simple yet so delicious. If I were asked to choose one dish to eat every day of my life, this will be one of my top picks. It looks healthy, too! There's no need to go out to restaurants to feel delighted with good food.

My husband is very much a meat and potato man. This sounds like a dinner that he would love. I try to slip him fish as it’s a healthier meat vs his normal steak and bacon that he loves.
